I have been surrounded by art all my life. Seeing my uncle’s work at a very young age was instrumental in not only my want but need to paint. My parents took me to galleries every chance they got, encouraging me to pursue my passion.
Growing up in New England, I was surrounded by such beauty in the mountains and lakes. That and the fact that my parents took me on many travels across this beautiful country was inspiration for my landscape and seascape paintings. Not wanting to focus on one genre I started doing still life and moved onto doing animal portraits
I find painting to be fun and relaxing. I try to encourage everyone I come in contact with to try it.
Regina DePaolo Caron, developed an interest in art early on in childhood. At the age of six she already developed a love of drawing characters from comics and magazines.
Though predominately self taught, at the age of 13, she took private art lessons where she showed a propensity for scenic and still life and a love for architecture. She continues to expand her talents and explore new artistic venues. She meets at her studio with other artists to share ideas.
Her work has displayed in several galleries from Connecticut to California.
